I mean, sure, I dress like one. In fact, a lot of people people say to me "when I first met you, I thought you were a republican." And, the GOP's general hatred of poor people aside, I don't actually think there's anything wrong with being a Republican. But anyway, I was out to dinner last night and we were talking about the work I did for DB, and she said "Wow, you did work for him? I thought he was a democrat."
And I said "of course he's a democrat."
And she said "Well, I had heard you're a republican now." And went on to explain to me that Assemblywoman Loompa's secretary -- who apparently remembers me from my consulting days -- is telling people that I'm a republican now.
Am I doing something different, I wonder? Again -- I don't mind being called a republican -- but why would some guy I hardly know go around telling people that?
