I'm in desperate need of a carwash. My windshield is a graveyard of bugs, dust and debris from driving to and from the Reno airport back to Carson City. I have several car wash certificates for Buggy Bath car wash in Reno (not too far from the airport) but:
1#) I have to locate the certificates some where in Las Vegas. 2#) After finding the certificates, I'll have to fly them up. 3#) After acquiring the tickets and moving the up...I have to find time to drive to Reno and get actually get the car washed.
Frankly....it's never gonna happen. I'll have a bug cemetery on my windshield when I drive back to Las Vegas come June.
Poor Jason, he doesn't quite "get it" in Judiciary. The Chairman and "King Ben" have a VERY long personal friendship of mutual respect. A committee member couldn't pull what Ben pulled and get away with it. Bernie thinks Ben is the cats meow. They've both been around since dirt. They are partners in the 'old timers club'. And as a general rule, Bernie 9 times out of 10 will be on the DA's side over the PD's side....so, Jason will always have an up-hill battle. His only friends on the committee are Horne, Segerblum (sp?) and Orenschall. Well...I'm his friend...and I'm on the committee....but I'm not a 'friend' on the committee. I'm just a member that judges each bill independently on its merit. blah, blah. blah...I could go on...but I'll spare you...

ps. Turco from the ACLU was only wearing one sock today, from what i could tell. He always looks disheveled to me....
