This masterful concept requires the State Board of Education to adopt standards to regulate standards of safety for spirit squads. Included in the definition of spirit squads is "any group of persons formed for the purpose of leading cheers or rallies to encourage support for a team that participates in a sport that is sanctioned by the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association."
